Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry treatments. Perform chairside assisting with proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient flow. Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other vital information using infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners to obtain diagnostic images while adhering to safety standards. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict infection control standards. Assist with patient education regarding procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health maintenance. Experience Proven experience as a RDA-EF2 for a minimum of 4 years in a General Practice Setting. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix/Dentrix Ascend. Experience performing X-ray procedures and operating 3D scanners is preferred. Background in chairside assisting across various specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics is advantageous. Strong understanding of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and medical imaging techniques. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in medical documentation and records management.
