Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) / Dental Assistant (DA) to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring efficient workflow. Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accurate positioning and compliance with safety standards. Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while following infection control standards to prevent cross-contamination. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote ongoing dental wellness. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy relevant to general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners accurately and safely. Familiarity with infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and sterilization protocols within a dental clinic setting. Knowledge of medical terminology and coding practices related to dental procedures for accurate documentation. Excellent communication skills suitable for interacting effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatric populations. Demonstrated capability in chairside assisting during complex procedures such as prosthodontics or endodontics while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
