Overview We are seeking a part-time (16-32 hours per week) CHINESE (MANDARIN) SPEAKING dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using CareStack software. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the clinic. Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient inquiries, and coordinating with insurance providers. Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Proficiency in using dental software applications such as CareStack is advantageous. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Certification in Dental Assisting.
