Full Time Dental Assistant in Laguna Hills - Mark J. Redd, D.D.S. - Laguna Hills, CA

We are a private periodontal practice located in Laguna Hills seeking a full time Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is a team player and dedicated. We are not looking for a short term individual, but someone who wants to grow within our practice (we are willing to train). This is a full time position with excellent benefits, including paid vacation/sick/ holiday, 401k, and uniforms provided. Weekly schedule is Monday – Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, some Fridays 8:00am - 2:00pm. We are closed on weekends and holidays. Hourly pay is based on experience and skills Key Responsibilities include: · Assist the dentist during examinations and surgical procedures (extractions, bone grafting, dental implants, periodontal surgery, gingival grafting) · Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment · Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for periodontal procedures · Greet and prepare patients for treatment · Operate digital x-ray equipment including CBCT scanner · Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient · Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by Dentist · Record treatment information in patient records ** Coronal Polishing license a plus Minimum Requirements: A team player with a positive attitude is essential X-ray License or obtaining in the near future CPR Certification Current Immunizations Must be comfortable with surgical procedures Possess excellent verbal and written skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Work Location: In person
