Summary We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in delivering outstanding patient care in our state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring efficient chairside support. Manage patient records and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take and process X-rays as needed for diagnostic purposes. Utilize EMR systems and software like Eaglesoft and Dentrix for documentation. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready for use. Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance the overall patient experience. Maintain infection control protocols throughout the office. Qualifications Must have 2 years experience in a general dentist office and preferably one office. We are looking for someone that plans to work in our office for a long time not an employee that changes jobs regulary. Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental clinic. Proficient with cord packing and taking FMX xrays. Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices. Ability to take X-rays and perform chairside assisting effectively. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required. Certification in dental assisting..
