We deliver comprehensive, whole-patient care with a focus on periodontal health, prevention, and the oral-systemic connection. Our hygiene team plays a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and educating patients on their path to optimal health. We're looking for a thorough, patient-focused Dental Hygienist who is passionate about periodontal therapy and comprehensive care. This position comes with a base pay plus a monthly commission for going above and beyond with patient care. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Perform complete periodontal assessments (6-point probing, BOP, CAL, recession) on all adult patients annually. - Deliver scaling and root planing (SRP) for diagnosed periodontal disease. - Provide prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and sealants per Ohio RDH scope. - Administer local anesthesia (OH anesthesia permit required). - Take diagnostic radiographs and intraoral images per imaging protocols. - Perform digital scanning for ortho and prosthetic planning. - Educate patients on periodontal disease, oral-systemic health links, and home care. - Support Perio Protect™ program delivery and follow-up. - Collaborate with doctors on periodontal classification and treatment planning. - Prepare new patients for comprehensive exams with complete diagnostics. - Support patient care by educating patients on dental and restorative needs and treatments.
