Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-time) - Broward Dentist - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take dental x-rays - Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment - Record and monitor vital signs of patients during dental procedures - Utilize Dental software to update patient records and treatment plans - Assist the dentist in various dental procedures as needed - Conduct patient assessments and provide oral health education and instructions Skills: - Proficient in medical imaging techniques for dental x-rays - Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment - Strong patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues and develop treatment plans - Understanding of human anatomy to identify oral health abnormalities Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
