Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans. Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and uphold clinic standards. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to deliver efficient, high-quality care. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Maintain detailed medical records using Dentrix. Qualifications Valid state of Ohio license to practice dentistry with current credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry; experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics is highly desirable. Proficiency with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Familiarity with Dentrix. Strong knowledge of anatomy and infection control procedures within a clinical setting. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent communication skills to explain treatments clearly and compassionately to patients of all ages.
