Responsibilities Diagnose and treat dental conditions in pediatric patients, including routine check-ups, cleanings, and preventive care Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery with precision and care Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging techniques to assess oral health and develop effective treatment plans Educate young patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive measures Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and treatment notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry, optimizing efficiency and patient comfort Skills Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning Extensive knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles, including anatomy knowledge specific to children’s oral structures Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and pediatrics for accurate patient assessment and documentation Experience performing dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and other specialized procedures in a pediatric setting Ability to communicate effectively with children and their families, ensuring a positive experience Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic environment Knowledge of general dentistry practices combined with expertise in oral surgery and dental fabrication techniques Join our team if you are eager to bring your pediatric dentistry skills into a welcoming environment where patient care is our top priority!
