Overview Join our team as a Financial Coordinator, where your communication and organizational skills will be vital to our patients and the practice. In this role, you will create a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to check-out. Your expertise in administrative support, insurance verification and claims submission and making patient financial arrangements will help us deliver excellent care with professionalism. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism Schedule appointments accurately using Eaglesoft dental practice management software Verify insurance coverage and benefits Submit, receive and follow up on insurance claims Make financial arrangements with patients, collect payments, and handle collections with attention to detail and compliance with HIPAA regulations Answer phone calls, schedule patients, Assist with patient intake and checkout Explain treatment plans using clear language Support office management tasks such as submitting payroll hours, data entry and managing office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications Experience in a dental office or medical front desk role, clinical experience and is helpful Familiarity with software systems such as Vyne, Microsoft Office, Excel, Quickbooks and Eaglesoft Knowledge of dental coding (CDT codes) Ability to navigate health information management systems confidently while maintaining HIPAA compliance Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and effective communication abilities Bilingual skills are helpful to serve diverse patient population Previous experience with dental terminology, insurance verification processes, and medical billing is preferred Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities calmly and efficiently Join us to make a positive impact on our patientsâ lives as part of a supportive team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 34 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
