Responsibilities: Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare instrument trays, equipment, and materials needed based upon schedule Sterilize instruments Assist the dentist through 4-6 handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks when necessary as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep all dental rooms clean and well-stocked throughout the day Participate in morning huddles Take radiographs and other diagnostic aids to present to the doctor Follows infection control protocol and prepares and sterilizes instruments and equipment. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position. Skills Certification as a Dental Assistant X-ray certification Coronal Polishing Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
