Position Summary As a Dental Assistant, you will work alongside dentists and hygienists, providing chair-side support, assisting with clinical procedures, and helping ensure a smooth and positive patient experience. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a team-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Chair-Side Assistance Assist the dentist during procedures (instrument transfer, suctioning, isolation, etc.) Prepare treatment rooms and materials prior to patient arrival Support patient comfort throughout treatment Patient Care Escort patients to operatories and review medical history Take and record vital signs Provide post-op and oral hygiene education Sterilization & Infection Control Sterilize and disinfect instruments per OSHA guidelines Maintain organized and clean treatment rooms Monitor inventory and assist with supply ordering Radiography Take dental x-rays with proper positioning and radiation safety protocols Maintain radiography equipment Administrative Support Chart accurately and maintain detailed clinical notes Ensure lab cases are prepared and accurate Assist with scheduling and patient communication when needed Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Dental Assistant training program completion preferred Active Colorado dental radiography certification Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting Experience with dental software (Dentrix or Open Dental preferred) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Growth opportunities within a multi-location dental organization Supportive leadership and structured onboarding Paid time off (full-time employees) Employee dental benefits Team-oriented environment Equal Opportunity Employer Elite Dental Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
