Registered Dental Hygienist – A Different Kind of Hygiene Practice Fear Free Dental, a well-established privately owned dental practice in Portland’s West Hills, is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist who enjoys practicing thoughtful, modern preventive dentistry. Our practice has served the community for over 30 years, and we are currently looking to add one — possibly two — hygienists to our team. We are not in a rush. Our goal is simply to find the right person who enjoys patient care and wants to practice hygiene at a high level. What Makes Our Office Different Our hygiene department is built around the philosophy that oral health is closely connected to overall systemic health. To support that, we use advanced technology and protocols that allow hygienists to practice modern preventive care. Our office utilizes: Phase-contrast microscopy to help patients visualize their oral bacteria Ozone therapy to help manage bacterial biofilm Air polishing with glycine powder for gentle, minimally invasive biofilm removal Cone Beam CT (3D imaging) for comprehensive diagnostics Digital scanning and 3D printing technology As a privately owned practice, our focus is on quality patient care rather than corporate production quotas. We believe hygienists should have the time, tools, and clinical support needed to provide excellent care and meaningful patient education.
