Duties Assist dentists during various procedures in general dentistry, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort, Also assisting dental hygienists Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and maintaining aseptic technique to uphold infection control standards Take digital dental X-rays, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Updating medical documents, and managing patient flow Maintain knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy, to communicate effectively with team members and patients Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred; familiarity with dental assisting procedures is essential Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is advantageous Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA standards Hands-on experience with chairside assisting including four-handed dentistry techniques and handling dental instruments efficiently Ability to capture X-ray images accurately and operate dental imaging equipment confidently Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly using dental terminology Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to improving oral health through compassionate care and innovative techniques.
