We are looking for a superstar assistant who will serve as a clinical driver of our orthodontic department — someone who takes pride in organization, efficiency, and ensuring orthodontic cases progress smoothly from records to completion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being highly involved in orthodontic treatment and wants to help grow and elevate a rapidly expanding orthodontic program. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, but not required — we are happy to train the right candidate in pediatric dental care if they bring the right attitude, work ethic, and enthusiasm for working with children. What You'll Be Doing Assist pediatric dentists during clinical procedures Assist with orthodontic treatment including braces, expanders, appliances, and clear aligners Help coordinate and support the clinical flow of orthodontic cases from records to completion Serve as a key clinical support in developing and organizing the orthodontic department Take digital radiographs and orthodontic records Perform iTero scans and digital impressions Assist with orthodontic adjustments, appliance delivery, and treatment monitoring Place sealants and perform orthodontic scans Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and orthodontic care Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols Assist during sedation cases when needed Support scheduling and front desk coordination when necessary Help create a positive, fun, and organized patient experience Who We're Looking For 2+ years Dental Assisting experience (Required) Orthodontic assisting experience (Required) X-Ray Certification (Required) Open Dental experience (Preferred) Pediatric dental experience (Preferred) Sedation experience (Preferred) Experience with iTero scanner is a strong plus Most importantly, we are looking for someone who: Takes pride in their work Has a team-first attitude Brings positive energy and initiative every day Is excited to help build and grow an orthodontic department Wants to grow professionally and be part of something special Why Join Kids 1st Pediatric Dentistry?
