Overview Cap Dental is looking for a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who is organized, efficient, and committed to delivering excellent patient care. The Dental Assistant will support the dentist during procedures, help maintain a smooth clinical workflow, and ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit. -Part time role. Working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm -This role reports to the lead dental assistant -Benefits: Bonus pay based on goal achievement -Starting pay begins at $21 per hour with the opportunity for a pay increase after a 60 day performance review Responsibilities · Assist the dentist during procedures · Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories following OSHA and infection control standards · Take dental X rays and intraoral photos · Seat and prepare patients while ensuring comfort and clear communication · Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental · Provide post treatment and oral hygiene instructions · Maintain inventory of supplies and keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked · Help manage patient flow to keep the clinical schedule running smoothly · Follow all HIPAA and safety compliance standards Requirements: · High school diploma or equivalent · Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience · Experience with Open Dental software required · MUST be fluent in English and Spanish · Ability to take dental X rays (Florida radiography certification preferred) · Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment · Excellent communication and teamwork skills · Positive attitude and strong commitment to patient care Pay: $21.00 per hour Language: English & Spanish (Required) Work Location: In person
