Ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental assistant experience . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide gentle, attentive care and effective communication to ensure each patient feels welcome and informed. Prepare treatment rooms, patient records, equipment, and instruments following all safety standards. Assist the dentist chairside for a variety of procedures, including restorative, surgical, pediatric, and preventive care. Take impressions, high-quality radiographs, and maintain precise treatment notes. Educate patients on procedures and reinforce the treatment plan prescribed by the dentist. Maintain treatment and sterilization areas in pristine condition. Support scheduling efficiency and practice revenue objectives. Collaborate with the dentist and team members to foster a cooperative, professional, and upbeat environment . Adhere to OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and all applicable regulations. Required Qualifications 1 year of experience as a dental assistant Warm, empathetic, and patient-focused Excellent communication and organizational abilities Skilled in conflict resolution and clear communication Team-oriented mindset with a patient-first approach Comfortable handling sensitive situations with compassion Current Dental Assistant certification/license (as required by Florida) Digital radiography certification CPR/BLS certification Familiar with dental software and digital imaging systems Strong computer skills, adaptability to new technology Preferred Qualifications Bilingual: Spanish Working knowledge of OpenDental Work Schedule Monday - Friday Saturday (as required).
