We are looking for a dependable and friendly Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator who enjoys helping people and takes pride in keeping an office organized and running smoothly. Position Overview: The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while maintaining a warm and professional attitude. ```Duties:``` - Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner - Register patients and ensure all necessary information is obtained - Answer phone calls and provide/collect information to patients - Assist with appointments and cancellations as needed - Verify insurance eligibility and benefits - Calculate co-pays accurately - Work as a team with other front office team members ```Requirements:``` - High school diploma or equivalent - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Proficient in using computer systems and software, preferably Eaglesoft - Ability to handle cash/check/card transactions accurately - Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment - Professional appearance and demeanor Skills: - Dental records - HIPAA compliance - Dental coding - Dental terminology - Insurance verification - Dental office -Telephone skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
