Part-Time Registered Dental Assistant (2 Days/Week – Flexible Schedule) Our small, established private practice on Signal Mountain is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our friendly team two days per week for the next three months. This position opened because our current assistant needs temporary time off. The two workdays are flexible Monday–Thursday , making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule, great patients, and a low-stress environment. We are a small team and rely on each other, so we are looking for someone who is dependable and takes pride in being punctual and prepared each day. Our practice is locally owned and operated by the dentist. We practice primarily bread-and-butter general dentistry and pride ourselves on providing high-quality care in a relaxed, professional environment. Schedule Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 1-hour lunch break (12:00–1:00) Work 2 days per week (flexible days) No evenings or weekends Responsibilities Chairside assisting during dental procedures Preparing and breaking down operatories Instrument sterilization and maintaining sterilization flow Taking dental X-rays Charting and clinical notes Assisting with scheduling patients’ next appointments Compensation & Benefits $20-25 per hour depending on experience Retirement plan available with 3% employer match Predictable daytime hours Supportive, team-oriented office environment Qualifications Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Comfortable with general dentistry procedures Organized, dependable, and patient-focused Strong communication skills We use Oryx cloud based practice management software.
