Crescent Community Health Center located in Dubuque, Iowa, provides access to dental, healthcare, and wellness services for the Tri-State area. Our state-of-the-art facility (2nd largest in Iowa) consists of 35 operatories, an oral surgery center and an onsite dental lab. We have invested in new equipment such as intraoral scanners, milling machines, 3D imaging, rotary Endo, and surgical microscopes, which reflects our commitment to embrace advanced technology. We will also soon work in the community with our new two-operatory mobile dental clinic. These investments align well with our mission to offer high quality comprehensive care to all age groups. Job Purpose: Performs professional, high-quality dental care, preventive care, and restorative care to clients of all ages with maximum concern for client comfort, treatment, and respect. Key Responsibilities: Perform oral examinations using x-ray and other specialized equipment. Diagnose and treat dental and oral diseases. Conduct dental restorations, extractions, prophylactic, and other dental procedures as indicated. Execute dental operations and treat mouth diseases. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic dental records and utilize other computer software efficiently. Ensure compliance with all necessary screening, credentialing, and privileging requirements. Required Education: DDS or DMD from an accredited school of dentistry. Required Experience: Proficiency in using electronic dental records and other computer software. Experience in performing oral examinations, diagnosing and treating dental and oral diseases, and conducting various dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, and prophylactic treatments. Preferred Experience: At least one year of experience in a dental practice setting. Required Certifications: Licensure to practice dentistry in the state of Iowa. Must obtain BLS certification and mandatory reporter training within the first 30 days of employment. Ability to pass screening, credentialing, and privileging requirements.
