Part-Time Dental Hygienist (2 Days a Week) Join Our Established, Family-Oriented Practice Webster Family Dentistry is an established and thriving practice looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist (2 days per week) to join our team. We’re a patient-focused office where teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential. Our hygienists focus on delivering excellent care while the front office team handles scheduling and patient coordination, allowing you to devote your attention to your patients. What You’ll Do Ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease before and during their appointments. Conduct initial screenings and review oral health histories. Perform professional cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing (SRPs). Take X-rays and assist in diagnosing conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis. Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants. Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene and preventive care. Administer local anesthesia as needed (where licensed). Assist dentists with treatment planning for various conditions, including oral cancer screenings. Keep accurate, thorough documentation and maintain charts. Properly sterilize and maintain dental instruments and operatory spaces. Monitor and maintain hygiene supplies. What We’re Looking For Licensed Dental Hygienist (active in Florida). Experience as a hygienist preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply. Knowledge of infection control, HIPAA, and safety standards. Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and a gentle, patient-focused approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
