A’s Family Dentistry is looking for a Short Term Dental Hygienist for 1 month to join our amazing team in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Required days would be Tuesday to Thursday from 8:30AM - 5:00 PM. About the Position: The primary purpose of the Dental Hygienist is to ensure that patients receive the best possible care in a dental office. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care (oral hygiene), assisting other dental services (e.g. oral surgery, dentifrice), and ensuring that the office operates in compliance with established procedures, patient care guidelines, and company policies. Essential Functions: Perform pre-operative, post-operative, and post dental procedure examinations; Perform oral hygiene duties; Inventories supplies; Maintains an efficient office operation; Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Dentrix or equivalent software; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment; Flexibility in schedule and role with ability to work overtime as needed; Basic dental health certifications or licensure preferred.
