Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Utilize medical imaging tools as needed for diagnostic purposes. Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring a positive experience for children in the practice. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology. Strong skills in patient assessment and patient care. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
