This is a part-time position (up to 30 hours per week depending on needs) , with the potential to transition to full-time as our office continues to grow and as the candidate demonstrates strong performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will be experienced working with children and is able to communicate effectively and professionally with patients. Our team is looking for a flexible, reliable and personable Dental Assistant that has a passion for dentistry. Responsibilities: Assisting doctors chairside with pediatric patients during dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring instruments are properly sterilized Taking and developing dental x-rays Escorting children to and from treatment chairs with a welcoming and reassuring attitude Performing some preventive procedures, if certified Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed Maintaining infection control protocols and office sterilization standards Assisting with patient education and explaining treatments to parents Supporting front desk tasks when needed (answering phones, scheduling, checking patients in/out) If you're someone who enjoys working with kids, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and is willing to help wherever needed, we'd love to meet you!
