Overview Tooth & Tox is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our growing boutique dental and facial aesthetics practice in Acworth, GA. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated assistant who wants to take ownership of the clinical team, help shape systems, and grow with a modern practice that blends advanced dentistry with facial aesthetics. Our office focuses on delivering an elevated, patient-centered experience through technology, education, and exceptional clinical care. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, confident in their skills, good communication, values patient care and excited to lead. Duties Assist doctor with restorative, surgical, and cosmetic procedures Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photos Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols Manage operatory setup and breakdown efficiently Support Invisalign and digital scanning workflows Oversee clinical inventory and supplies Help train and support additional dental assistants as the practice grows Ensure clinical systems and protocols are followed consistently Contribute to an exceptional patient experience from start to finish Skills Minimum 3 years dental assisting experience (required) Lead assistant or strong leadership experience preferred Radiology certification required Experience with digital dentistry and intraoral scanning preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-first mindset What Makes This Position Unique Tooth & Tox is not a traditional dental office.
