Overview Smilewell is looking for a versatile and dependable Dental Assistant to join our North Bethesda team. We offer a supportive environment where efficiency and patient care go hand-in-hand. What You’ll Do: Comprehensive Clinical Support: Provide high-level chairside assistance for restorative work (fillings, crowns, bridges, and implant crowns), as well as specialty procedures like implant surgery, endodontics, and Invisalign. Digital Integration: Utilize modern tech including iTero scanner and CBCT imaging. Practice Flow: Manage operatory setup/breakdown, maintain strict sterilization standards, and keep the schedule moving smoothly. Operational Ownership: Oversee clinical inventory and manage supply ordering to ensure we never miss a beat. Teamwork: Support our hygiene team with charting, tray setup, seating patients, or room turnover when needed. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Prior dental assisting experience and familiarity with dental instruments, materials, and chairside workflows in a general dentistry setting. Certification: Active Radiology Certification is required. Mindset: A "team-first" attitude. We’re looking for someone who jumps in to help wherever the office needs it most. Bonus Skills (Not Required): Experience with any of the following is a plus: Invisalign records or attachments or Endodontic assisting. Dental photography. Interest in social media content creation for the practice! Schedule: Monday & Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM Note: One Saturday per month may be added in the future.
