Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, implant dentistry and invisalign. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly with aseptic technique. Take and digital dental X-rays, including 3D scans, while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records using EMR systems on Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate medical documentation and coding. Support the dental reception area by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and updating medical records. Perform chairside assisting with vital signs measurement, medical imaging, and maintaining infection control standards. Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, and post-treatment care to promote oral health awareness. Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with implant dentistry, invisalign and cosmetic dentistry practices. Proficiency with dental software Eaglesoft. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support accurate documentation and communication. Experience with X-ray techniques, including digital imaging and 3D scanners; certification in radiography is advantageous. Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety at all times. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics.
