Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Deliver a wide range of treatments such as dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Utilize advanced practice management software like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment options to promote long-term oral health. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to medical and dental records management. Qualifications Dental degree from an accredited institution with current licensure to practice as a General Dentist. Proven experience in dental office or clinic environments with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology. Familiarity with practice management software such as Eaglesoft, is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication techniques. Ability to perform dental extractions and other surgical procedures with precision and aseptic technique. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly. Knowledge of infection control standards, medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Experience working with pediatric patients (pediatrics) is a plus but not mandatory.
