We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide exceptional oral care to our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting good dental hygiene practices and assisting in various dental procedures. Job Summary As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for conducting dental cleanings, examining patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis, and providing preventive dental care. You will work closely with dentists to assist in treatments and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Responsibilities - Perform professional dental cleanings and scaling - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Take and develop dental x-rays - Apply fluoride treatments and sealants - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Assist dentists during procedures - Maintain and sterilize dental instruments - Update patient records with treatment information Requirements - Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology - Familiarity with dental clinic operations - Proficiency in medical imaging techniques - Experience in pediatric and general dentistry - Ability to record vital signs accurately - Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Certification in CPR and anesthesia administration is a plus If you are passionate about oral health, possess the required skills, and are dedicated to providing top-notch patient care, we would love to have you join our team as a Dental Hygienist.
