Permanent Dental Assistant Job in New Baden, IL
We are searching for a dental assistant to join us at First Arrow Dental. We are a growing practice seeking a friendly, self-motivated dental assistant looking for a private practice setting. We are currently serving a variety of ages of patients while performing a variety of procedures at our office. More to be added as we continue to advance our clinical technology. We currently have one dental assistant, but looking to add another to help our team become as efficient as possible while performing high quality care for all patients. We are seeking an assistant with great chairside manner and excellent communication skills both verbal and written. A positive attitude and teamwork approach are essential to the position. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) assisting the dentist in both administrative and clinical duties including: prepare patient for procedure or exam, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, and prepare materials and assist during dental procedures. We are looking for an assistant that is willing to learn how to utilize digital dentistry to care for our patients. We utilize CEREC and Primescan/Primemill in our office to provide a variety of restorative services. We also have advanced imaging with Panorex and CBCT to aid in the proper diagnosis and treatment for our patients. These skills can be acquired on the job, but general handskills will be a requirement. It is preferred that a dental assistant be accredited by a dental assisting program, but not required. Additionally, you must be able to schedule patients and take inventory stock of materials. Dentrix software experience is a bonus, but can be acquired on the job.
