Duties Greet patients warmly and manage patient intake with professionalism and enthusiasm Answer phone calls and schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claim processes Collect payments, document accurately, and manage billing information Maintain accurate dental records and update patient information periodically Facilitate communication between patients and dental providers with excellent phone etiquette Assist with dental billing, and documentation review to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage office supplies, file dental records securely, and support general office management tasks Support the clinical team by coordinating care plans and ensuring smooth clinic operations Ensure the front desk area remains organized and welcoming Skills Previous experience in dental or medical office experience preferred Proficiency in dental practice management software Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (10 key typing) Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and health information management practices Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally Strong organizational and multitasking ability Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
