Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Orthodontic Assistant who is comfortable working both chairside with patients and supporting the front office . This role blends clinical orthodontic assisting with administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being an important part of a small team. The right candidate will help create a great patient experience while keeping daily operations organized and efficient. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures and adjustments Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take orthodontic records (photos, impressions, scans, etc.) Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Front Office Duties Answer phones and schedule patient appointments Verify dental and orthodontic insurance benefits Assist with patient check-in and check-out Communicate treatment information and scheduling with patients Operational Support Order and track orthodontic supplies and inventory Help maintain organized systems within the practice Support team members to ensure excellent patient service Qualifications: Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred Experience with insurance verification preferred Comfortable answering phones and interacting with patients Experience ordering clinical or orthodontic supplies is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Someone excited about helping build and grow a new practice Why Join 540 Orthodontics?
