Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and passing tools efficiently. Prepare patients for examinations by reviewing medical histories in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records Support infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment. Provide chairside assistance during general dentistry, prosthodontics, and other specialty procedures. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist and maintaining inventory of dental supplies.
