Job Overview We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. Responsibilities Assist the dentist procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry. Knowledge of general dentistry practices. Familiarity with medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide compassionate care.
