Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing team! No prior dental experience is requiredâwe are happy to train the right person with a great attitude and eagerness to learn. Experience in dentistry is preferred but not mandatory . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in dental assisting in a specialty practice. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments/materials for procedures (including root canals, implants, and extractions) following strict infection control and OSHA/CDC guidelines Assist the Dentist chairside during procedures by passing instruments, managing suction, and anticipating needs Take and process digital dental X-rays (periapical, bitewing, etc.) as directed Prepare patients for treatment: greet them, review medical history, explain procedures, and ensure comfort Sterilize and organize instruments/equipment; maintain a clean and safe operatories Provide post-treatment instructions and patient education Handle basic administrative tasks such as updating patient records, scheduling follow-ups, and assisting with office flow Support the team in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and caring patient experience Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent No experience required â we provide on-the-job training!
