Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics to restore and maintain oral health. Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical records to develop effective treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging technology and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure safe and accurate diagnoses. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain detailed medical documentation while complying with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to pediatric and adult patients. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene within the clinic. Qualifications Valid state dental license with current certification in general dentistry. Proven experience with dental office management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics; previous pediatric dentistry experience is a plus. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes. Commitment to providing excellent patient care while maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
