The ideal candidate is dependable, positive, and enjoys working in a team-focused environment while providing excellent care to patients. The Orthodontic & Specialty Departments Clinical Lead is responsible for the clinical performance, workflow efficiency, team leadership, and patient experience within the orthodontic department (2–3 days/week), while providing coordination oversight for all specialty service days (pedodontics, periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery). This role functions as the operational bridge between the doctors and the clinical team—ensuring high standards of care, optimal scheduling flow, compliance, profitability, and an exceptional specialty patient experience. This is a leadership role requiring oversight, strong clinical competence, organizational skill, emotional intelligence, and accountability for departmental outcomes, more so than working chairside. Orthodontic Department Leadership (Primary Focus) 2. Specialty Services Coordination (Pedodontics, Perio, Endo, OS) 3. Team Leadership & Development 4. Metrics & Accountability 5. Communication & Cross-Department Alignment Required Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience. Expanded duties certification (as applicable to Louisiana regulations). Strong knowledge of orthodontic appliances and workflows. Experience assisting specialists preferred. Demonstrated leadership capability. Strong communication and teamwork skills Professional, reliable, and patient-focused Preferred Competencies High attention to detail. Strong organizational systems thinking. Conflict resolution skills. Ability to balance authority with approachability. Comfort reviewing metrics and operational performance. Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
