Registered Dental Hygienist - Lake District Family Dentistry - Alexandria, LA

We are looking to add 1 or 2 Dental Hygienists to our team in a 3 doctor private practice. Full-time or part-time options available! We are searching for team members with great work ethics, who are professional and positive. We focus on the patients’ oral health as well as their overall health. We are open to hiring multiple part-time candidates. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible and make genuine connections with our patients Conduct screenings and check health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Provide appropriate hygiene treatment for each patient Educate patients Take X-rays / dental impressions as needed Assist dentists with discussing appropriate treatments for various diseases / conditions Maintain proper documentation Participate in team events and education Skills License / Degree as Dental Hygienist In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Follows proper OSHA standards Outstanding communication skills A patient, caring, positive and professional personality Attention to detail and pursuit of excellence Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary Pay: $300.00 - $450.00 per day Expected hours: 8 – 38 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Work Location: In person
