About the Role of Registered Dental Hygienist As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will be a key link between patients and their oral health and dental care. You’ll provide evidence-based, high-quality hygiene services, assist with guiding patients through their treatment journey, and provide input to create customized treatment and care plans for each patient. We’re looking for a caring, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team, with opportunities for either part- or full-time work (1-4 days per week, M-Th). What You’ll Do as a Registered Dental Hygienist Perform comprehensive cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, assessments, and patient education Review medical histories and take vitals when needed Take digital X-rays and follow strong infection-control protocols Document thoroughly in Open Dental Collaborate with our dentist and assistants to create a smooth, consistent patient experience Maintain a calm, positive, and professional environment for our patients Provide input during collaborative meetings to continuously improve, advance, and hone-in our hygiene program and other clinic systems Who You Are A Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in Washington Someone who values kindness, communication, and quality Comfortable managing your own schedule and working independently Familiar with digital charting (Open Dental experience is a plus) A team player who helps when needed and keeps the day moving smoothly Enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel informed and at ease About Our Team Growing practice- expanding in terms of both volume and types of services provided Friendly and laid-back team A dentist who is supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused Long-term patients who appreciate good care Well-established office- location has been a dental clinic for over 50 years Benefits $65-$75 per hour base pay Flexible on hours- opportunities for 1-4 days/week (Monday/Tuesday 8-5, Wednesday/Thursday 7-3), with full benefit package available to employees who work 3+ days/week In house dental and discounts for uninsured family members Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Paid holiday Retirement matching At North Seattle Smiles, we want all our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work.
