Dental Office Receptionist (1yr dental experience required) - Grafton Family Dentistry - Grafton, WV

One year dental experience required. Grafton Family dentistry is seeking a part time patient care coordinator! The position will be at least three days/week to start with possibility of additional days. We are looking for someone who has the following skills: Team player with excellent communication skills Has experience with cutting edge technology and computer skills Focused on a vision and committed to an unprecedented level of care to patients Building patient rapport Job Description/Duties: Checking patients in and out of appointments Scheduling patient appointments for specific needs Recording patient medical history and medications Updating contact information and insurance information Collecting and entering payments Answering phone and handling calls in appropriate manner Verifying patient’s insurance prior to their scheduled appointment Thoroughly documenting all pertinent information as well as following protocol for rescheduled or missed appointments Any additional tasks the office manager may need assistance with Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience in a dental setting Reliable and dependent Must follow OSHA and HIPAA regulations at all times Ability to be a team player and multi task in a fast paced environment Must possess a friendly, welcoming demeanor to put our patients at ease Knowledge of dental software and a variety of dental procedures Enjoys the dental field and desires to continue working in this area of WV Must be reliable and arrive on time for your scheduled work days.
