Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including dental and medical history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as digital X-rays and 3D imaging. Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including dental cleanings, restorations, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and document treatment plans clearly in electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness. Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with eligibility for licensure as an Associate General Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong foundation in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or comparable systems. Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery techniques including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and dental fabrication. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques aligned with OSHA guidelines. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans. Strong communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and fostering a positive patient experience. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced dental office environment while maintaining attention to detail.
