Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental charting and update medical records - Assist with medical coding and documentation - Specialize in providing dental care for pediatric patients Experience: - Previous experience as a dental assistant - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients and parents - Dentrix software experience a plus Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.
