About Our Office We are a doctor owned, private practice, that provides exceptional quality dental care with a focus on aesthetic dentistry and dental implants. We utilize Cerec intra oral scanners and crown fabrication in office. In office 3D cone beam technology. Digital xrays and charting with Open Dental software. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed. Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and efficiency. Take and develop dental X-rays using modern medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines, maintaining accuracy in image capture. Manage patient records within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems like Dentrix or Epic, ensuring all medical documentation complies with HIPAA regulations. Collect vital signs and medical history information from patients to support comprehensive care delivery. Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing dental receptionist tasks, and maintaining organized medical records. Educate patients on oral health practices, dental terminology, and post-treatment care to promote ongoing health and wellness. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with a strong understanding of general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental software systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing patient data and medical coding. Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and proper use of dental equipment like 3D scanners and radiography tools. Hands-on experience with chairside assisting in pediatric dentistry or other specialized fields such as prosthodontics or endodontics is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively using dental terminology and medical terminology to ensure clear understanding among team members and patients. Certification or training in X-ray operation, infection control practices is preferred but not required. Familiar with Cerec system is welcomed but not required.
