Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Position hours required Mon and Tues 8-5, Wed and Thurs 7-4 Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as Medical imaging equipment. Perform general dentistry procedures including dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and care. Execute oral surgeries and dental extractions adhering strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for accurate medical documentation, medical records management, and treatment planning. Educate patients on oral health best practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using clear dental terminology. Maintain a sterile environment by following strict infection control standards and ensuring proper sterilization of dental instruments. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Stay current with industry advancements in general dentistry, prosthodontics, and other specialties to continually improve patient outcomes. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures. Prior experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery is highly desirable. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure patient privacy and compliance. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages using appropriate medical terminology while providing exceptional patient care. Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, medical imaging procedures, anatomy knowledge, and dental fabrication processes.
