Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Bakersfield, CA

What Youâll Do: Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures Manage patient flow and maintain a warm, welcoming environment Provide support for the back-office team by setting up the rooms accurately Oversee sterilization and OSHA compliance Educate patients on oral health and post-op care Communicate fluently with Spanish-speaking patients Present treatment plans and support case acceptance conversations Ensure all opening, closing duties, and other periodic duties are completed accurately and consistently Monitor break times to ensure all team members are compliant with their scheduled rest and meal periods What Weâre Looking For: Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience Leadership or mentorship experience preferred Fluent in Spanish (required) Strong organizational and communication skills Confident, proactive, and patient-focused Experience with digital X-rays, charting, and basic lab tasks Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar software is a plus Preferred if you have experience in treatment plan sales, case acceptance, or willing to be trained What We Offer: Competitive pay (commensurate with experience) Opportunities for growth and continuing education Supportive, team-oriented work culture Paid holidays, vacation hours and potential bonuses Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Profit sharing Work Location: In person
