Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Hoover, AL

Dr. Samuelson is looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join his team at Samuelson Orthodontics to assist patients at his Hoover and Medplex locations. The Orthodontic Assistant is responsible for assisting doctors in providing treatment and completing lab work under the direction of the doctor(s). The Orthodontic Assistants assist the Lead Assistant in the completion of duties, including, but not limited to, the organization and maintenance of equipment, instruments, and supplies. Clinical Assisting Perform cleaning/sterilization and maintenance of clinics Update and maintain patient's dental records Document treatment and write treatment notes Obtain x-rays, intraoral and extraoral photos, digital scans, impressions, etc. Prepare and set up for patient's treatment with correct instruments needed according to procedure Other duties as needed Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Must have one year of experience in a Dental and/or Orthodontics office.
