Responsibilities Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and compassion. Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, diagnosing dental conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging techniques and anatomical knowledge to accurately diagnose issues and plan effective treatments. Ensure strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are followed during all procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment. Manage medical documentation accurately within electronic health record systems Collaborate with dental specialists in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics when advanced care is necessary. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote lifelong oral health. Maintain a clean and organized clinical workspace adhering to infection control standards and OSHA regulations. Stay updated on the latest dental techniques, technology advancements, and best practices through continuous professional development. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong background in general dentistry. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontic procedures (crowns, bridge) Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health assessments. Familiarity with infection control protocols including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics; previous experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, medical imaging interpretation, and medical records management.
