Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and a positive patient experience in a Correctional setting. Duties Perform a wide range of dental treatments including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations , extractions, prosthodontics and oral surgery procedures. Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Document all dental procedures accurately in electronic health records systems while complying with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options to promote long-term oral health. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and current best practices in general dentistry. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with a strong understanding of dental terminology and clinical procedures. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization techniques aligned with OSHA guidelines.
