Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental chairs, and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures. Assist dentists during a wide range of treatments including prosthodontics and periodonticswith precision and professionalism. Take and develop high-quality X-ray images while adhering to strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records accurately ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and supporting patientsâ comfort throughout procedures. Conduct vital signs assessments and monitor medical imaging to ensure patient safety during treatments. Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Maintain a thorough understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding to ensure precise documentation and billing. Uphold infection control standards by following protocols related to sterilization, aseptic technique, and overall clinic hygiene. Assist with the use of advanced technology such as 3D scanners for prosthodontics or other specialized imaging equipment. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless four-handed dentistry workflows that enhance efficiency and patient experience. Experience Proven at least 2- yearsâ of experience working as a dental assistant in a busy dental clinic environment Proficiency in taking X-rays, medical imaging, and using 3D scanners for diagnostic purposes. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Ability to perform chairside assisting confidently across multiple specialties including prosthodontics and periodontics. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and medical coding processes related to dental care. Previous experience supporting infection control protocols and maintaining high standards of clinic hygiene is required.
