We are looking for a friendly, competent licensed chairside dental assistant who will help make our office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Dental assistants should be well-organized and detail oriented. If you are professional, great with patients, and have strong communication skills with a self-managing work ethic, we want to hear from you . You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office protocols and regulations while helping to provide each patient with exceptional care. Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Communicate with patients to review and update PHI Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Take diagnostic quality digital radiographs Proficient use of intra-oral scanner Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentists through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide post-operative care instructions Keep the dental operatories and lab clean and well-stocked Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Interest in specialty dental treatment Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Continuing education credits Dental insurance Employee discount Free parking Health insurance Paid time off Uniform allowance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
